There are several ways you can get involved in helping others this Thanksgiving at St. Andrew's. Please prayerfully consider what you and your family would like to participate in. You do not need to sign up for every event. Select only those that work for you and your family.
To give a donation of food bags, please drop off food donations beginning Saturday, October 26 and NO LATER than Sunday, November 17, 2024. Food Donations can be dropped off in the wagons in the Narthex. For a list of suggested food items, click HERE for the list.

This Thanksgiving, another great way you can help those in need in our parish community…Supply a Thanksgiving Food Box!
Your Thanksgiving Food Box should contain everything needed for a Thanksgiving Dinner to serve a family of 4-6. You can be as simple or as creative you would like to be, but please be sure to include all of the ingredients that the family will need (don’t forget the turkey, butter, rolls and the scrumptious pie for dessert!). If you would rather let the family pick out their own bird, you can include a grocery store gift card in your box.
This is a great project for an individual or family, a group of co-workers or friends, or for a ministry group. In the past, some people have gotten very creative by decorating their boxes and including paper napkins, tablecloth, candles and some inexpensive table decorations. That is not necessary, but it does make the family who is receiving it feel very special and many a tear has been shed when they are handed a box made with such extra special love!
Please deliver completed boxes to the Caring Ministries Office no later than Noon on Monday, November 18, 2024.
*You can also donate $45 and we will do the shopping for a food box that serves 4-6 people. Make checks payable to “St. Andrew Good Samaritans.”
Food boxes will be given to families November 19-20.
