Global Outreach
St. Andrew's Global Outreach Ministry is committed to assisting our local community as well as the poor and vulnerable of the globe. We are called to extend loving actions to the hungry, the needy, the homeless and the hopeless. We are called to embody Catholic social and moral virtue and are motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ to foster charity and justice as we are created in the image and likeness of God.
We have chosen to focus on these two areas where we can have and are already having a tremendous impact on the forgotten of Christ's children. This is the direction we shall be taking as we embrace Christ's reassurance: "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did unto me." (Matthew 25:40) Let us continue to be His hands, legs and faculties to these children through these two organizations. We are all made in His image so let us embrace our faith and live our faith in solidarity with these brothers and sisters around the world.
Grow Haiti's Children

In late 2009 a winter visitor walked into the office of Rev. John Coleman at St. Andrew the Apostle church in Chandler, AZ. and asked if the parish would be interested in supporting Our Lady of Perpetual Help Orphanage in Jeremie, Haiti by providing monthly food assistance for 35 children living at the orphanage. Thus the Haiti outreach ministry now called Grow Haiti's Children was formed. In January 2010, many areas of Haiti were devastated by an earthquake of 7.0 magnitude and the orphanage saw the number of children increase to 60. St. Andrew's parish rallied together in support of the country and the children at the orphanage with expanded support to include education and other living expenses.
In November 2011, a group of parishioners from St. Andrew the Apostle traveled to Haiti to make their first visit to the orphanage and instantly fell in love with the children. Since that initial visit to the orphanage, it has been the goal of Grow Haiti's Children to send a team twice a year to visit, engage in projects and take supplies to the orphanage. In 2012, hurricane Sandy struck Haiti and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Orphanage once again saw an increase in the number of children. Today the orphanage is home to approximately 70 children who rely on Grow Haiti's Children for food, clothing and school tuition. As the needs of the orphanage increased over the years, it became apparent that Grow Haiti's Children needed to grow as well. In December 2015, the organization officially became a 501(c)3 organization with an independent Board of Directors.

E3 Africa

E3 Africa is committed to educating the orphaned, impoverished and often forgotten of God's children in both mind and spirit. We create one-to-one relationships between people with a desire to change the world and the vulnerable children most in need of the life-changing gift of education. God has been doing amazing things at E3 Africa! We have been blessed with the opportunity to steward incredible growth, including an all-time high on the number of sponsored students and the completion of the first phase of St. Thomas Aquinas College, a faith-based secondary school in Moyo, Uganda!
While this growth and impact is incredible, we are confident that God will allow us to do even more and to have an even larger impact on the most vulnerable children of this world. We need your financial support, so that we may continue impacting the lives of the often forgotten of God's children in Uganda. Like Ester, God has placed each of us in this exact time and this exact place and this exact position so that we can have a profound impact on this world for his kingdom. What impact will you have?
