Jesus desires for us to constantly seek relationship with Him. We draw near to Him through the Sacraments, Prayers, and Faith Formation. But you don't have to do this alone, in fact, we don't want you to! We are a community that is walking this road together! You are invited to join us in our formation opportunities that you can read about below.
Young Adult Way (YAWAY) meets Sundays from 3:30pm - 5:00pm in our Teen Center. This ministry is consecrated to and guided by the Holy Spirit while being Eucharistic Centered. It seeks to unite Young Adults of all ages, from 18-39 in the Catholic Faith and to create a community for them here. Most young adults have already fallen in love with our faith, but now they want to know how to keep walking in the light of Christ and have questions they seek to have answered. They yearn to know other people their age who are trying to keep the faith in light of the pressures of our modern world. YAWAY walks with them on this journey.
The Young Adult meetings involve a variety of activities including potluck socials, bible studies, and other opportunities.
Becoming Catholic through the process known as Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), a process of welcoming people who are interested in learning about the Catholic faith tradition. It is a process for those who are unbaptized; baptized in another Christian denomination who seek to be in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church; or for those baptized Catholics who are in need of completing their Sacraments of Initiation (Reconciliation, Confirmation, First Eucharist). The OCIA is open to all adults 18 or over.
The process begins with scheduling a meeting with the Becoming Catholic Coordinator. Weekly sessions are in large and small group format on Sunday mornings beginning in August and continuing through Pentecost. If you know someone who may be interested in finding out what the Catholic Church believes, teaches and why and is interested in becoming Catholic, or is Catholic and in need of completing their sacraments, please send them our way!
Contact Kim Doyle, Becoming Catholic Coordinator, at [email protected] or 480-899-1990, ext. 181, and she will contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting, explain the process, and answer any questions and/or concerns there may be.
Adult Bible Studies are offered at various periods year round by our Becoming Catholic (OCIA) Coordinator as well as other biblically versed volunteers. Be sure to check our Parish calendar for any upcoming Bible Studies.
Our Parish offers a yearly pilgrimage opportunity that adults of all ages are welcome on. This past November 2024, our adults had the chance to visit the shrines of Italy. They journeyed to the sides of Saints such as St. Padre Pio and Blessed Carlo Acutis. Stay tuned for details regarding our 2025 pilgrimage.
