I have been on and off unwell since I got back from the Celebration of the Apostles of Jesus Golden Jubilee in Uganda. In the solitude of my room and in the silence of my heart, I reflected on a number of wonderful things that are going on around us and in our Church with great joy and hope. For instance, among others, we officially launched our Heal Our Land Holy Hour on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross on September 14, we participated in the Mass for the National Respect Life Day on September 8. This past Friday, September 21, we had our second Holy hour which also launched the 40-hour Adoration Event. God is blessing us and our Church!

I have been away for a function of my Religious Order for close to ten days, as I indicated in my last article, and therefore had limited access to the internet nor even the luxury of time to follow what has been going on in our Church following the recent scandalous revelations coming from Pennsylvania. Like most of you, it is very difficult under the current circumstances not to be angry with our Church’s leadership and clergy, lose trust and be tempted to leave the Catholic Church.
