The Apostles of Jesus Missionaries Celebrate 50 Years of Existence!

On July 31, 1969 in Kampala Uganda, Pope Paul VI in his homily said: “By now you Africans are Missionaries to yourselves…..in other words, you Africans must now continue upon this continent, the building of the Church”.  Those prophetic words were uttered barely a year after two Comboni Missionaries, Bishop Sisto Mazzoldi, and Very Reverend Fr. John Marengoni founded the  First Religious Missionary Order called the Apostles of Jesus on the African soil precisely on August 22, 1968. Since then, the Lord has blessed our Order in amazing ways.

Parish Pastoral Strategic Plan 2018

A little over a year ago, your parish pastoral council and I embarked on revising our pastoral plan which was drawn two years before I became your pastor. I requested for this revision so that I might be able to better understand this plan in order to be able to drive its implementation since I was not a party to its formulation. I did this on the understanding that a pastoral plan, in order to succeed, the pastor must be fully behind it.
